Yes, I decided to try myself on a new field - 1:144 scale :)
Thanks Hannah from http://hannahsminiatyrer.blogspot.com for inspiration!
I am also truly fascinated by Nell Corkin's miniatures - they are amazing. If you haven't seen it - you shall definitely check it out! https://nellcorkin.com/
Well, here's what I'm trying to do:
I'm doing it all from scratch - starting with the idea. Gosh, there's a lot of work and I am all excited about this project. It really seems that the less it is the more I like it :)))
The drawing is real-sized by the way ;)
Stay tuned to learn how will it turn out!

ReplyDeleteWonderful project! I'm curious to see more.
ReplyDeleteBye, Faby
Дашь, ну ты даёшь! Я даже представить себе не могу, как это можно сделать в таком масштабе?!
ReplyDeleteБуду с нетерпением ждать результата))
Замечательно! Буду ждать результат!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll do great and I'll be here to see it.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Drora
Im glad you stared a minimini-project too =) Now I have someone to ask when I get stuck ;) I love your stairs, mine kinda sucks, but I couldn't come up with a better idea how to make them =) Are you making it all in wood?
ReplyDeleteHannah
No, i'm cheating here:) I still haven't found where can I buy thin wood in my city :(
DeleteSo it's a scrapbooking cardboard - it's 1,5 mm thick and easy to cut with simple crafting knife. The only significant minus is that if you apply too much water\ water-based anything - it becomes crooked. Though on this scale it shouldn't be a problem.
I would love to try real wood!
I almost thought your cardboard looked like plywood or something =) Its very thick (for a cardboard I think), seem perfect for this. I only had thinner cardboard, no wood here either. But I don't have that many tools either, so cardboard seem better for me =) But it would be nice with a wooden house too, maybe later =) Will you be making furniture to this house too?
DeleteYes, I intend to make it fully furnished with a garden as well)
DeleteHowever, no crafting supplies for greenery here as well, so I'll need to invent my own trees, bushes and grass..
Bravely done. I think it's hard enough for 1-12, I dare not imagine how difficult it is in the tiny size.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.

Manu
ReplyDelete"Great" plans indeed - this is going to be a fun project!
